My problem is simple, in space, everytime I fought against multiple enemies, I could only target those that the camera could view, I relocated my TAB button to target the nearest and it didnt help.
Also, the Camera "looks" at our target which is fine, however, it doesnt snap back to our vessel as soon as the enemy is dead, which means that targetting a new enemy which is out of the frame of the camera kinda difficult... please help ?
There is an option to target "off screen" targets as well. I use that option, along with TAB targeting the closest target, and seems to work right.
After that, I jsut have to adjust the camera accordingly to just find my target....I just wait for my beams to fire and adjust my camera to point in that direction

It takes about 3 seconds to snap back behind your ship after you move the camera (right click drag) or after an enemy ship is destroyed. ( I think it waits until 3 seconds after the enemy hulk is completely dissolved .. so it seems like a long time.)
The default key to toggle the "look at target" is "x", so I bound the reset camera to my mouse thumb button, and then used follow target mode if in a battle (with zooming out using scroll wheel to see everything), but often switched it off when in a system looking for anomalies or in the Sector map, and used reset camera as needed (reset camera doesn't work when " Look at Target" is enabled).
Hope that helps. A follow mode for the camera would be nice, as would a shortened delay on camera swing for Look at Target mode
