Agnitum Outpost Firewall and STO

If you are running Outpost Firewall there is no way to start the game all you get is "Disconnected from login server" (right before you get to character select).

Only way to get past it is to shut down the agnitum service (Turning off the firewall or closing it down does not work) when you are loging in and than when you are at the character select you can turn it on again.

Just thought those that are having problem with it might want to know about the fix, might work with other firewalls also. I think i had the same problems with Champions Online but i am not sure.

I think I fixed the issue:

To fix it, you go to Settings > Application Rules > GAMECLIENT.EXE > Edit > Options > Disable Content Filtering

That seemed to work for me.

Erm ... there is no such option - not in Outpost FIREWALL. I think you're talking about outpost security-suite which comes with a malware scanner which also adds the mentioned option .... i had massive problems with the malware scanner during beta hence i only use the firewall .... im very disappointed to see that the problem still exists with games like STO

It's there in outpost pro 7.1. Right next to the update link is where 'settings' is...
