It seems to me that the most asked questions (After where is Admiral Sulu) are things like "Where is Rator Prime?" or "Where is Memory Alpha?" or "Where is Starbase 39/114/K7?" even "Where is Spacedock?"
The basic problem (as far as I can tell) is that contacts that give missions not in thier sector block don't seem to consistently inform the player of such, and players are apparently less interested in exploration than you would think.
While some things might seem self-explanatory (Patrol Vulcan Sector, not system) past expereince in this beta has shown otherwist. (I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

)
Erring on the side of being pedantic might be a good idea, unfortunately. Especially with the Hail Starfleet non-location specific quest giving.

they have 3 different means to find out where to go... the map the galaxy map which lists the major planets and sectors and the system map which lists by system every place you can go in the sector your in..
i have yet since the first time in closed beta had to ask where some thing or someone was unless they were taken out of the game all together or broken.
i don't even understand people wondering where sulu is... you talk to the admiral ... theres only one other guy in the room usually with people crowded around him... hrmm maybe i should put my mouse over him and see what his name is.. oh look its sulu.... its sad they have to add things to the game to handhold people through it..
Before the big patch it was bad, but missions like the crystalline entity that say (literally) got to sector TRIBBLE and system yyy. Like WTF?
As for the "wheres sulu", I think it is a inside joke when people say it.
