Commander promoted a BOFF to Commander

HI, When I had reached Commander 1 i went into the status page (K) then clicked on my tactical Lt BOFF and pressed the promote button, the game seemed to freez up with LAG (like it does when trying to skill up) so i pressed promote again, when the LAG went i noticed my BOFF was now the same rank as me, and i can use all 4 of its ground based skills... let me tell you she's now quite hand to have around :D

EDIT: was in a very laggy sol base when i did this...

    I haven't had even a lag second in all the beta. Either I'm very lucky, or the lag is not server-centric.

    An I listen to online radio all the time while I play (Sometimes I even check My e-mail and surf the net while I cross sector space) (sometimes I even work a little while I cross sector space)
