Randomly unable to use weapons (space combat)

This has happened a couple times. Usually in the heat of combat, and I assume it's some attack. This time i was fighting turrets at Ratar prime - regular turrets, just "light photon turrets" or whatever. No special abilities.

After killing one out of a group of three, I was suddenly unable to fire my weapons. I wasn't lagged - i could move, i could queue up BO abilities. But I couldn't fire anything. No debuffs listed on my ship. No apparent reason.

The turrets ignored me for a bit, then fired at me again - all while I couldn't fire back.

Eventually my weapons came back up, for reasons completely unknown. Took about 30-40 seconds.

Anyone else have similar issues?

    I had a similar issue when I was fighting several Frigate-class ships, where my torpedoes would randomly not fire. The skill bar showed them as bing charged and capable of firing, but clicking on the torpedo taskbar icon wouldn't cause it activate. Then it would randomly fix itself.

    I've had this happen occasionally. It usually occurs after I destroy one enemy. For some reason i remain locked on that target even after it's core blows. Hit escape next time and then try to fire. See if that works.

    I have had the same issue many times with many types of enemies. The work around that works for me is not relying on the mouse clicked action bar. instead i will use the numbered keys.

    That also works for Klingon's stealth skill that will not work when click vi mouse but will threw keypad.

    now if i could just get the Klingon shields to stop blinking out every so often.

    This has happened to me too, only it never corrected itself for over 24 hours, switched to my tier 1 ship and went about on lower level missions.
    Got sick of that and grabbed the escort again. The only power I had active was the cannons the rest were stuck in recharge. I went into status and pulled the phaser/disruptors out of the ship. I then noticed my photons were on a 4 minute recharge and it was slowly counting down while on my way to DS9. After I put the phasers and disruptors back on the ship everything seemed to be ok and I was off happily blasting things out of the void of space.

    One other problem I have encountered is that randomly I will lose a BO power out of my weapons slot. I can have it and be using it and all of a sudden its not there anymore, real pain in a fight and you wanted to add power to the beam weapons, and you can't.:eek:

    I have had this problem with the torpedo's and twin disruptors. Its like the buttons are locked, but the cooldown has completed. like you said above it resolves it self after 20-30 seconds. Do there rely on energy or a torpedo stock???
    Its not the firing arc either, TESTED that!

    I had just the opposite work around i had to click the button as the numbers 1-0 would not work.

    I have encountered this as well. Not very often, maybe one space battle out of 50. The normal 'fire the weapon' button doesn't respond. The button is lit up and activated, but no whoom and no damage. And I have found that the 'fire all beam weapons' or 'fire all projectile weapons' buttons above the single weapons box fire it fine. (And as I only have one of each, it doesn't effect anything I guess :) ) Then when I get out of combat for a time it goes back to working fine on the standard button.
