AutoFire for ships not working

My Autofire for my ships longer works. I have the weapons highlighted in green and will fire the first shot and it will not fire after that. I have to actually remove the autofire for the weapons to even fire again. I have tried different weapons on different ship classes. I have even tried to use the number keys to get the first shot off but to no avail. While the game is completely playable it would be nice to have this feature back. Anyone else having this issue.

lol yea. I just posted about this a second ago. I'm having the same problem you're describing. If auto fire is toggled on, they just won't fire at all. Manual is the only way to fight.

I experienced the same problem, fortunately for me pressing the corresponding number rather than clicking the button works.

Take a look under the space controls (not the keybindings) - at the bottom of the list, the auto attack behaviour option was re-enabled in the last patch. It kind of sounds like yours may be set to maintain rather than toggle.
