A proactive question about a background aplication

So earlier today I tried to log in and got a "you are not authorized to log into this server" or something very similar as a message, and for a second I wondered if I'd been banned for something. Turns out it was just another log in glitch. But, it made me wonder.

Short Version: Does HWmonitor register as a cheat to the anti-cheating system for ST:O.

Long Version: I recently put together a new system, and installed an i7 chip. Out of the box I was getting bios errors for overheating. After some troubleshooting it turned out the heat sync wasn't installed properly. One removal of that and some fresh gel, and the temps are back in the low 40s while idling.

This got me to dig around on-line for a windows utility to monitor the heat. What I picked up was CPUID Hardware Monitor, which logs the temps while it's active. I've been using it in single player games, and Age of Conan without issue, but it never occurred to me until STO gave me that not authorized for login error message that it might have picked up as a cheat in the game. So, does anyone know if this is something I should worry about?

EDIT: Spellchecked

Dont worry about the message given upon failing to log in, its just one of the cryptic error messages Cryptic use... see what I did there.

"You are not allowed to log in at this time"
"The servers are busy try again later"

Simply wait 5 minutes and try again

I think the "not allowed" message is thrown after logging out and logging back in quickly, regardless it doesnt seem to matter, Ive had both messages on multiple occasions and simply waited and logged in a bit later.

FYI it is highly recommended that you terminate as many background programs as possible before playing any game.
