Computer Running Hot

Honestly I have no idea how to check the actual temperature of the things you guys are talking about, but just from feeling my laptop I am running really hot and it is shutting down my laptop. I have tried some to the other posts with the VSync and the FPS, but it still seems to be running really hot.

http://pastebin.com/m7e41c559 that should be my DXDiag.

Any help would be appreciated.

The first thing I would check is that the fan(s) are running properly and aren't clogged with dirt or debris. Make sure nothing is physically blocking the fans, also.

If you want to see your CPU temperature, you could go into the BIOS (I think Toshiba's usually use F1 or ESC) and check it there. An easier way and one that would work in Windows is to download one of the freeware temperature monitoring programs.

Laptops will seem to run hot, but I've never encountered one overheating unless there was a problem with the fans. They shouldn't overheat with normal use.

ok when I start out it looks like this
    GPU-52 C
    Intel Core chips - 46,47C

Once I start up the Core Chips go up to 78C

Then after 5 minutes of playing my GPU went up to 87C.

This is all with it sitting on a cooling pad that has 2 fans
