Bare with me.. long night working on fixing the dreaded nvidia stutter...

Well, I had the stutter issue others posted about with nvidia cards and was able to fix it and add SLi along the way. I used Nhancer to force settings for my graphics.

Running a GTX 295, I rolled back to the 190.62 drivers and used the tweak in the nvidia control panel to use the settings Rockntrek found:

Antialiasing - Mode to Enhance the application settings
Antialiasing - Setting to 8Q
Threaded Optimization to On

....but wasn't happy using an older set, so I installed the 195.81 betas and then began to tweak.

First I unchecked physx in the nvidia control panel so it's not being used..

After editing the star trek online profile I changed SLI mode from single to AFR since the gtx295 has dual graph procs on it. If you dont have two or more gpus leave it single! I then checked Sli graph=on for testing in game.

Game ran but had no sli graph, so went back to nhancer and checked /profile can be activated manually.

I right clicked the nhancer icon in the toolbar and chose the STO profile I made and rentered the game.
SLi graph was up and going ;) Game ran noticible smoother and I'm happy i'm using the other half of the card I paid for. Sharing my nhancer profile.. be sure to import it into nhancer then go to town.

My Nhancer profile for STO:

Unless you are running a Sli setup I would recommend going through rockntrek's help post:
