Fatal Error on loading the game

SystemSystem Member, NoReporting Posts: 178,019 Arc User
I get a "Fatal Error: Direct3D driver returned error code (D3DERR_INVALIDCALL) while resetting the device" error. It seems to crash right after seeing the first developer/publisher logo (it's grey).

I updated my video drivers, and I'm still getting the same error.

I have a GTX 295, Windows 7 64.

Thanks,

Sam

Game doesnt launch after I log in. I get a black screen and the mouse cursor shows a loading action.
Let it sit for hours and it never loads. Check all my drivers and updates. I have Window 7 64 bit, GT 8600.
Game works fine on older system. Have to run it lower settings on my old pentium 3. I think it has to do with the nvidia drivers and 64 bit system.
