I'll try to enter an instance and get disconnected from the game server. When I try to log back in it won't even login to the account server. This happens repeatedly until it kicks me back out in the sector space.
Try going into the STO Launcher options and change the proxy dropdown to either of the other settings and see if it helps. I was set to US and changed to NONE then I was able to login no problem and never got account disconnect error anymore. But I was getting rubber banding so I changed agian to EU and played gret the rest of the night last night. Try it and let me know if it works.
i am the same, keep getting Server Connection Lost messages every time i change instance or enter a system etc. so far nothing has helped. cant get past the ss azura mission cos it keeps happening!
hope it gets sorted soonish cos i really want to play this game......... alot!
Yeah, I have a very slow load for characters and maps when first logging on and I frequently get "Server Not Responding" when I transfer to from sector space to system space. Yesterday (1/15) was unplayable for me.

Edit : POSSIBLE FIX: I used C Cleaner to fix all registry issues, and now STO is running much better.
