I have a Dell Dimension 4600i with

CPU: Intel (R) Pentium (R) 4 with 2.80 GHz
Memory: 510 MG RAM
Video: NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200

and all the other good stuff that comes with computer. I know I will have to update the memory and the video card and possible the CPU, but I was wondering if there is anyway I can save this computer because as of now I can't afford a new computer till six months after launch. So please tell me if there is anything I can do to save some money.

get some more ddr ram and a decent agp video card and you should be good to go without a major overhaul.

If you're using rambus memory.. you're out of luck.. it's cheaper to replace the mainboard, cpu and ram instead of just buying rambus :P
