Away team lag

For some reason, anytime I do away team stuff the screen has periods of normal motion, and then a 2 second hiccup - repeatedly. I'm using the GTX 260 video card - is this a common bug?

I been experiencing the same thing with my GTX280 card. Game runs fine, hiccups for a second or two, runs fine for a few seconds, hiccups again, repeatedly.
Other games run fine with no problem, including Borderlands, Batman Arkham Asylum, Bioshock, and Mass Effect.
    I'm runnin Vista x64 with an Intel i7 920, 6GB DDR3, and a GTX280 card

This has been a bug for about 6 months now.... see Champions Online.

Roll back to 180.xx or early 190.xx drivers to sort out the issue... they are so lazy you have to do the work to sort it out... and pay them. LOL

Cryptic can't be bothered to sort it out...

Wow dude, we are all suffering the rubberband effect, and yup Cryptic has not fully solved this problem yet, humm maybe you forgot this is a beta, I guess if you can't work with them on solving problems you should wait for the final release. Then feel free to publicly berate the company if they are slow to respond but to slam them now while they are working very fast and have a rapidly approching deadline.

Not sure how many closed or open betas you have been in but this is normal, 6 months to solve a problem that there is a working work around for is expected. They have been releasing patches at great speed and keeping us well informed.

You should have been in the Ever Quest beta, we didn't think it would ever be ready for launch, constant down time and sitting around waiting, then your patches came in the snail mail, not a fast download manager. We cursed the company constantly.

I know it hurts on the inside and we all are dieing to really open this bad boy up and put thrusters to full but giive it the time and just show support while they prepare for launch. We will be rewarded with a great new game.

The excuse for everything, maybe even the common cold?
How long did the development on this MMO last? Indulge me please. Considering that, one might believe, there are less errors, right before the immediate roll out of a software.

But ok, hide behind "it's only a beta" ... in a few days this game is life. I wonder what excuse you'll find then. Maybe: "oh come on, they only have been developing this game for a couple of years"???
