Blue Screen of Death! Help!

I've grown weary of this. Over the past several days I've attempted to defeat starbase 24, around at least 12 times.

Everytime I beam in:

-I am my own ship.
-My away team is not with me.
-Klingons respawn over and over and over.
and, overwhelming Klingons spawns seem to bring on,

BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH!

Below is a link to a video I uploaded, of Starbase 24 at its worst. Someone please fix this, It's the only mission I cannot complete because it's simply overloading the map.

I have not made it through this mission, because every time I try, the BSOD occurs. This is the ONLY mission I've documented that repeatedly gives me this error. I can proceed through the others just fine.

Someone please fix this. Thanks.

I would have just reported as a bug in game , it looks like a driver issue blue screen to me.

I updated the drivers though. And this is the only mission it occurs on.

Possibly a bug then with that point in game that needs a fix for ATI driver , or combo with devs coding.

Im not a coder but it will something like the above.

The guys might be on it right now.

If I recall my bluescreens, that's not a video card error, but rather a RAM error (it often occurs with unstable memory). Now, obviously, you don't have bad RAM, because if you did you'd be noticing it all the time. I wonder if in your case you might be running into an overheating system like many others?

It's at least a place to start. Of course, I could be wrong, and it could be a video driver issue, but it seems like you'd be getting a different bug check code if it were (for the limited amount that I know).

Turn down your graphics. blue screens can be from hardware overloads.

I just experienced my first BSOD with (of?) STO - this is after several today while attempting to play WoW. Up until now, STO merely crashed to desktop.

    Bleh.
