Windows 7?

Is this supposed to run on Windows 7 64 bit? I just spent the last day and a half downloading this, and when I try and run setup, it pops up an error telling me that it's incompatible with the version of windows I'm running, and to contact the publisher.

Also kinda irritated that I can't seem to find the system requirements for this anywhere:mad:

Did you unzip with the Win7 built-in Zip tool or with something like 7zip?

I used the build in windows 7 zip utility to unzip it before running setup. If you try to run setup from inside the zip file you may run into issues.

Yup think your right there mind, and to clarify 7zip is nothing to do with win7 its a independant progam and works with xp,vista and win7 try googling it!

    hope this helps ;)

does filefront have a non-zipped version they're sending out? All I have is just a folder in my dl directory titled "Star_Trek_OB_ST_0_20100108a".

does that mean it's got an error, since it's not showing any .zip files?

And still...where\what are the system requirements?

aye, and it has the recommended specs listed as well, they just didn't put a break between the two. And I know I definitely can play it, I just need to wait for download #2 to finish(why didn't they list the torrent first? It's running at 650 KB/s, where the fileplanet was throttled down to a hopeful 100 KB/s)

I unzipped it and it ran fine yesterday. Well fine for a beta ;) but today after patching it loads up to the Cryptic/Atari splash, starts the music and then locks up.
