Fatal Error: Read wrong number of bytes

tried warping to sector space and crashed got the following error

Fatal Error: Read wrong number of bytes
Unique Error ID 6719096

I'm running windows 7 pro
3.2 ghz pentium
2gigs ram
gforce 9400 with a gig of ram

turtorial ran fine picked up first couple missions and it told me to warp to sector space
hit warp button load screen got to about 15% then got the above error

created another character got to the same spot and got the error again
now both characters are stuck at the same place and unplayable

ran all my anti-virus malware chkdsk defrag all drivers are current
launcher has verified my files a few times now and hasnt had any problems yet

any sugestions as to what to try next would be helpful

    Unrelated to your issue, but that card is really holding back your gaming performance. It's 5 times underpowered from the minimum requirements.

    To come back to your issue at hand, I wonder if your system performance is killing something that's timing out before your graphics sub-system can respond?

    But if I were to take a guess, I'd say one of your pig files is corrupted. Wiping them manually then letting the launcher/patcher download them again might help, even though that would take a long time.

    ok heres the fix
    I deleted all my hogg files and repatched 10 gig download but it did fix my problem
    I'm guessing somthing was corrupted somewere

    Glad you got it working. :) Yup, file corruption, especially from File Planet, can happen.
