I ordered the DDE from Direct2Drive, logged into my account and redeemed the key. I go through the confirmation, everything looks fine, then for some reason I appear to have been logged out of my account. I logged back in and click the My Account link. I see the following
You have no products. Click here to enter a key.
I re-enter my key and get the following:
This product key is already active, it cannot be used again.
Should something appear here or is this normal? I am still downloading the client so I can't confirm whether or not I can login.
Yup, same thing here except I never had it accepted. I just got that same error from the start. I've contacted D2D about it but they say it's all in Cryptics hands and contact their support. I now have a ticket with Cryptic but this is not a very promising experience. If they can't get a beta key correct, how will they deal with the retail key? I'll try again tonight when I get home and see if it fixed itself.
I noticed I DID get an e-mail saying my key was activated.

Same, made a ticket, I pre order from play.com in the uk. Website probably got overloaded, their database say yes the key has been activated but to which account. Then log out. I wonder how long its going to take for them to notice.

I downloaded sto from the sto website and i bought a cd key, ive enterd my key in and its saying i have no products? ive had the email confirming my acount is active but i cant login to the game and its still saying i have no products. what have i done wrong?
to activate the account retail key you need to do all three steps.
1. Enter your retail key
2. Enter a subscription options (required)
3. Enter a valid credit card or game card or paypal. (required and must be verified)
then your key is activated you will have the 30 days bonus subscription and will not be charged for your subscription until the 30 days are used up. If you cancel before the 30 days are up you will not be charged at all and your game account will be inactive after the 30 days.
