D2D using Fileplanet is dling 7.65gb @ ~1mb/sec
all is well

I'm assuming this is the version w/ the 14kb patch? Confirm anyone?

    It should be, but if you are having the 10gb patch problem, do check my thread about the workaround.

    I thought I heard the earlier one today was around 7.5 that's what I am hoping the 7.65 is the final one. I did not see any option for a mirror tho.

    Its an issue with the way the installer works, not the version of the files themselves.
