Please post the error ID number so we can look up what the crash was.

The crash is inside MSHTML.dll, which is part of IE (effectively). Can you please double-check your IE install is up-to-date?

I'm getting the same problem. Application crashing as soon as I double click on it. The error ID number is 2010828.

Works on another computer, which is virtually identical to this one, except for the video cards. Works on computer with a GeForce 9800 GTX+, not working on the one with a GTX 260 Maxcore.

Are you, by any chance, trying run this under Wine or similar emulation?

Still getting error number 2010828. When the server came back up again last night, my launcher started up and downloaded the 10GB update, and was ready to engage, however I did not connect. Trying to connect tonight, and am once again getting the above error ID.
