Is there going to be another Delta Recruitment event starting at the same time, like we've had the last couple of years?

Medium size pets (Runabouts) don't have the best track record. But the Bridge office power and hanger pet do look interesting. New Carrier toys are always fun.

That's ok we don't want everyone having reclaimable Elite pets that are too too good. The cost of Elite pets is one of the games few good dilithium sinks. lol

A new skill though, that is welcomed.

They certainly don't need to be the best. I just worry they are a poor copy and past of the other Runabouts whose damage is to low to be useful. A bit like the new Class 4 shuttles are just a copy of the really bad Class C shuttles. Both Class C/Class 4 and all Runabouts need a balance pass. If Scout Runabouts are based off Elite Support Runabouts which they look to be, then Scout Runabouts will be dead on arrival :(

Hopefully I am wrong. Scout Runabouts need to be far, far better then other Runabouts.

    EDIT:
Personally I am not keen on some of the direction Devs are taking with pets and Carriers. I think the devs made a large mistake giving a SecDef to the Ark Royal. It wouldn't be so bad if we had SecDef that boosted pets.

The Ark royal and Carriers should be about boosting pets and damage coming from pets not about Sci and SciDef. Turning a famous Heavy Carrier(Ark) into a subpar pet carrier and making it Science feels like a disservice.

Yes 3/3 Carriers are missing something, that something is not Science SecDef. Its missing a way to boost pets and hangar bays. Plus we need properly designed pets not weak copy and pasts of subpar pets. Runabouts pets are something like 15 years old and haven't ever been tweaked/updated for the modern state of the game. They just don't work.

The Mission Scout ship from Insurrection? Nice!

    Now everyone sing along....

A British tar is a soaring soul,
As free as a mountain bird,
His energetic fist should be ready to resist
    A dictatorial word.

    His nose should pant
    and his lip should curl,
    His cheeks should flame
    and his brow should furl,
    His bosom should heave
    and his heart should glow,
And his fist be ever ready
    for a knock-down blow.

🔺 ⚠ 🔺 THIS 🔺 ⚠ 🔺 is what i want to know! I was hoping we'd get BOTH Hangar Pets & a flyable Small Craft versions of the Mission Scout Ship.
The Cochran ship is still wanted. 🚀🛸

Its a real shame as I think the idea for the pets and bridge officer powers are great. But as I feared both are dead on arrival with both the Officer power and pets being massively under turned and a copy and paste of the near useless Runabouts.
