    Seems to be for me.

Nope, not running; and not even showing up on the mission journal. This right after we had the failed Junior Officer Appreciation event with no feedback whatsoever.

They've now 'updated' the news alert to have it starting tomorrow.

Seems to still have not been activated, and the Bonus Weekend section of the Mission Journal is still blank.

...and of course, DECA has no updated communications. These guys...I swear. They don't even realize they are destroying their reputation with the community by not communicating!

    I'm letting them know.

    Still not running.

It likely won't be, we told them repeatedly about the not running Junior Officer event and were met with complete silence; I don't actually think they work weekends by the sound of it (but will be happy to be proven wrong).

It's truly sad. I had real hopes for DECA. They seemed like they cared, but they continuously prove the community wrong. If their aim is to alienate the fan base of the game, they are definitely on the right track.

I think y'all need to calm down your rhetoric.

Not doomsaying, but observed experience. I've worked with an engineering company in dozens of these high tech companies, and they're all just basically 9-5 cubicle workers, thus we usually did all our work on the weekends when the premises were empty. They need time off like every one else, it's just slightly annoying they do it during their busiest times; but I have no ill-will towards them for wanting weekends off.
Anyway, I seem to have been proven correct after the silence from them concerning the last broken weekend event and now this one, so I'll let it rest.

It appears to have been announced twice, and supposedly currently running, but there's nothing about it in the actual game and there's no bonus marks being granted.

The last news update says it should be on now. There may be a more current update, but for some reason the News page appears to post updates on Twitter/X, which nobody uses anymore.

Is this occurring, cancelled, rescheduled, or what's the status?

What's weird is it is sort of working. I have not earned any extra marks from patrols or TFO's. But my two tribbles that give me a mark, have been giving me two. I was really hoping to put a big dent in my REP grind this weekend.

Perhaps DECA should switch to "weekdays events" that run Monday - Friday while they're still learning how to turn on and off the events? That does assume the events aren't all hard-coded to run (or not run) over the weekend.

We just apprehended Q after we found him messing with our events, again. We want to apologize for the lack of Bonus Marks event this weekend. To make up for it, we will run it the coming weekend, from the 14th to the 18th of March instead.

It would be nice if they actually posted these on the forums instead of social media. At the very least, find a way to integrate the social media account into a thread on the forum so we can all see these announcements from the forums.
