I can't take it anymore! Could everyone just chill out for two seconds before something CRAZY happens again?!

I'm always kind of surprised that consoles boosting pets, only boost pets in a 5Km radius making the console virtually useless.
Whoever keeps their pets within 5Km instead of taking advantage of their 15Km range is not making use of their strong hangar asset.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

To me it sounds more useful for Flight Deck Carriers or Strike Wing Escorts, where the Carrier is right there in the middle of it with their hanger pets, rather than full Fleet Carrier Stand Off tactics. However that passive doesn't have a range limit so... pets fire faster regardless of range sounds fun.

Alongside the other returning activities, we are excited to continue the Aetherian storyline in our newest episode! Full details of the episode will be announced in detail at a later point in time.
Players will be invited to play this Episode to achieve their Daily Progress. Each part also offers rewards of its own, as well as a number of other surprises!
Am I understanding correctly that this suggests we're getting a two-parter episode?

Could be useful for players that fly ships where they don't really care much about their hangar abilities, yet have an hangar.
My Vesta uses shield repair drones, for example. The hangar is just something I consider a bonus, so a trait that gives a significant % boost to my ship's damage, is quite a nice bonus to have available.
Same with my Alita. The pets are just there to spam more torpedoes because I enjoy seeing torps flying everywhere - I don't really care if they're hitting something all the time. I'm fine with and will consider henceforth keeping them close.
And honestly, there aren't that many free or cheap carrier traits available to the average player. So for the casual folks it might well fill up a slot that would otherwise remain empty. Which is of course always an improvement.
I stsill say it would be fun to stuff Q into a supernova while he wasnt watching .
Since he is already scewing with the event and it hasnt even started yet.
An ion storm is interfering with the holographic processors on our website, so we decided to share the images of our upcoming Event Ship Garrett Command Alliance Dreadnought Cruiser here! We will provide you with more details as soon as this storm has passed!

Previous years we often got a Ten Forward stream with the designer who got to chat about various design aspects.
Since this is a mixed Fed-KDF design with subtle Klingon influences (according to another post) it could be interesting to hear about how this ship came to be.

Funny you should ask
"As announced yesterday on the stream: We've got TWO #StarTrekOnline streams next week, and one with huge guests! @thomasthecat.bsky.social and @borticuscryptic.bsky.social join us on Monday to talk about the just-announced Garrett Class, and Tuesday, we play through the Anniversary! Don't miss it!"
For Captains curious, some additional info from Pundus on Bluesky
* Ship length is 675 meters long
* Ship cannot be kitbashed with any existing starship
They seemed to have changed a lot in the last year or two, previously on many ship models you could change Warp Drive, or change Hull while leaving the Saucer Section alone. They also used to allow various colors to be changed on parts of the Hull or Body of Ship, now all those things seem greatly restricted or removed completely in fact.
I've never seen them limit almost everything about customizing your ship, now all ships only have one model, that can only be used by changing the master design without customizations.
That's a bit disapointing, unless I'm doing something wrong, yet I strongly don't believe I am.

Due to the time i will have to watch that at a later time. Interested though.

Actually none of the Anniversary ships have been kitbashable.
And before anyone brings up the Ambassador and Kamarag, that's a different animal altogether. None of the Alliance ships are kitbashable, none of the fek'lhri ships are kitbashable...

I'm talking about just regular Ships, like normal CSTORE ships, or even Fleet Variant's. I don't see any option to change any parts of normal ships either. That also goes for even chaning the colors on the Hull, Nacelle, &/or Sauser section. For some reason I'm not find any option to change any of it.
Can someone confirm 2-3 typical Ships you can kitbash with, and I'll try it...

Ok so you're looking in the Ship Tailor, and you don't see options to change parts.
Lets start with some stupid questions first.
Which ships?
Have you tried clicking on the "Advanced" button in the lower right?

This basically confirms that the ship is heavily informed by the Galaxy frames, yet I expected we wouldn't be able to kitbash it.
Ach, well - at least we'll be able to paint it a different colour.

Thank You again Rattler!
Wrong topic
In my defense... I barely use the thing.
You're welcome.

The correction is that there's only 2 Sci console slots.
Just carrying on the 15-year-old tradition of wrong stats in the blogs
More seriously, I like the look of it and the stats seems decent. Plus a console for carrier pets is always welcome.
