Error Trying to Log in to game.

Not sure if anyone else is getting these errors. " We're experiencing high server load. Please restart you client to download and update. Thank you"

i have removed and updated ARC from scratch. I have latest version still getting error. Game is fully updated and yet still getting wrong version restart and update. This has been going on since the latest update.

I have also shut down my express VPN and Antivirus software and still get the same problem.

I do not know what to do to get this game working. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you.

    Use the STO launcher not the Arc linked one until this problem is resolved.

    I tried that too and it ended up opening the Arc. i closed out Arc before I did that. Made sure it was not running in backround.
    The funny thing is the game launcher updated then when I got to the Login screen to select the character I wanted it said version mismatch and logged me out.

    Go to where you installed Star Trek Online on your computer to the standalone launcher not the one that is connected to Arc and try that. That is what I was suggesting. In the launcher, go to Options, and turn off On Demand Patching and do a Force Verify.

    I tried that too. Just loaded up the Tribble server and it worked. Then went to the main server and it doesn't. Still says version mismatch. Please update and reload. Thanks for trying to help.

    I believe they're just letting the game slowly die. "High Server Load" is code for *We're reducing the amount of servers the game runs on, so it can support fewer players.* New content has slowed to a crawl. Everything new and desirable is behind a Lockbox paywall, requiring you to play the lottery to get it. I've been playing since the beginning, but it might just be time to walk away.
