Return to Game from 2012

Thanks ahead for any help. I'm returning to the game from 2012.

I'd like to use steam to download STO and manage updates. Do I need to link my "Arc Account" to steam or do any other actions before adding STO to my steam library?

EDIT: Disregard. No linking necessary. The launcher provided the link to Steam.

Welcome back. Before you do much with your existing characters, other than getting reacquainted with how things work i'd recommend starting a new character, running the tutorial. a lot of mechanics have changed some. also, plan on the next recruit event. consider new toons for each recruit event
