STO the soloplayer game.

Why does STO have no chat or interaction?. i join a fleet and cant get more then a "hi" back after forcing it. People in zones will not talk, they are doing their missions and want to be left alone. TFOs people never ever talk. they refuse to heal others or even res others. STO has become a single player game and i find this horribly boring. is there life out there?

and i learned if you want to play a TFO more then 60seconds, put it at the hardest lvl. players will blow up the hardest bosses in 10s. they need to fix this.

Noticed both of those things. I'm a 'plodder' - I play for the fun, not the build. My ships and Alts do their best, but some just sweep past. On the TFO thing... Maybe it's from being a 'cleric' on Neverwinter - but I try to Res those that fall in ground TFOs. Then watch others run by me, when I fall.
It seems that most in TFOs, like you say, just run in...blast away... and don't say a word. (Sometimes my 'fastest' ship is still too slow to get to the BOSS in the TFO, and its over before I get close.
As for the Fleets...well...... Due to MIA Fleet Commander I was able to stage a coup (I as #3) to take over the fleet. (One of the seniors hadn't been on since JUNE and the other since Thanksgiving!) Those few who have joined, orphans or newbies, I have spoken to, and helped where I can. Sometimes I get NOTHING done, since we are discussing the fleet or game.
I have only been on Star Trek Online for a little over three years - and a bit overwelmed to be suddenly Fleet Commander (Fed) of my fleet, and #3 or4 in a KDF fleet.
Always looking for help. (Indominus - until next December at least, at one year of Command I may change the name). We are (when the server comes back! - Level 33 with Tier 3 Starbase and Shipyards.
