Missing Bridge Officer

I purchased a Romulan Tactical Bridge Officer off the exchange and didn't have room for him in my active Officers. It went to my Bridge officer candidates page and when I clicked not now so I could resign an old Officer it completely disappeared. I have sent in numerous help tickets and was advised to create a bug report here as it was escalated higher.

The Exchange now sends purchased items to your mail, not directly to your inventory anymore, go check your mail box, or did you do this before the exchange update.

I did this a week and a half ago. I checked my mailbox it wasn't there nor my inventory
