Dual monitor issue

I have a strange problem. I have 2 monitors, one 32" and one 27" with 2560x1440 and 1980x1080 respectively, and every time I start the game, it starts up on my main monitor (32) but when the game actually opens, it always opens on my smaller monitor. I use ARC and everything works fine. STO is the only game that does this. All the other games opens up on my main monitor.

I've tried unplugging the secondary and plugging it in while the game is on but when the game starts up again afterwards, it goes right back to the secondary. It's as if STO has a preferred monitor or resolution. I also tried switching the main and the secondary but that didn't make any difference. STO insists on playing only on the 27 inch and only reluctantly opens on the 32 inch if it has no other choice. Any ideas? Thank you.

Have you tried going into the Display tab, in game, and selecting the monitor there?

I have a dual monitor setup too. I run STO 'borderless windowed' so I can use the min/max buttons that appear at the top right to unmaximise and move to my preferred monitor and maximise again. Then, the game just opens on whichever monitor it was on last.
