I've answered this before. I guess I'll have to do it again. The old Klingon War missions ARE being remastered. They just aren't the priority. New content is the priority. The old missions ARE being worked on as time permits. You're misunderstanding what's being said. Stop making accusations.

No, dude, the recent Q&A made it very clear they are not in the process of being remastered. They are being considered for a remaster, the same limbo state they've been in since they were taken from the game 4 years ago. I mean, I know that game design takes a LOT of work and the team as they are aren't able to do it at the same pace as they could years ago, but 4 years is already a lot of time to permit to these revamps.

its more than those mate. its all of the older missions they removed for a "revamp" as they say.

no one has misunderstood your post, nor what was said. what is taking place is an accusation of the player base not understanding. and thats flat out false.

given how long the missions have been gone, along with plenty of others, its nothing but hot air and fluff to say they are coming back, until they actually do.

many years have passed for many mission revamps, only to show nothing for our waiting.

so until an actual revamp appears, from the klink line or other, im of the point they dont exist anymore and no revamp is coming. unless you can offer proof to the contrary...

I'm sorry, chive, but there are plenty of people flat out saying, including yourself here, that the missions are not being worked on at all simply because they haven't seen them reintroduced yet. That is a misunderstanding and a false accusation. Jesse, during livestream, has said that he has been working on them. So, just stop.

No, "dude," I specifically asked for clarification on that very question. They ARE being worked on, albeit at a slower rate than new content, because new content has priority.

i was referring to the reply given in the thread from a dev or some such person. and just because they say they are working on them, means diddly around here. we have seen nothing as proof they are. they can swim the Mediterranean from Spain to Morocco (spelling) and say they did it in under 2 mins, but without proof it holds no grounds.

i guess years go by and thats acceptable in terms of revamping content. got it.

and not everyone watches the streams....so can you just stop with the "just stop." it is not becoming of a mod and you know it.

Actually, it is "becoming," because I'm telling you, and everyone else, as a moderator to stop. You're defaming devs by accusing of them lying (not out right stating, but implying), and stirring up discontent within the forum by continuing in this vein of denying what the devs have stated is the state of things. I can't tell you what to think or believe, but posting such accusations are forum rules violations. So, stop, all of you. Thank you.

Look, you guys wanted communication. You wanted questions answered. Well, you're getting communication. You're getting questions answered. If you're not going to accept the answers provided, then what's the point of them communicating with this community? The Q&A is a good faith effort to attempt repairing the communication lines. Perhaps, y'all could extend some good faith as well. And no, it's not good faith to cast doubt on the other person in the conversation.

When the previous Klingon War missions were removed from the game during Age of Discovery, players were told the missions would be remastered and returned to the game. Do we have any idea when this might occur? The missions are necessary for the Federation story, and the story is weaker because it has been truncated, not to mention the loss of a mission with Leonard Nimoy’s voice over.

Executive Producer, Andre Emerson: We love these past missions and we want to take the time to bring them back into the fold, with a modern gaming sensibility. However, the amount of time that would need to be spent on these missions is the same as the amount of time we'd need to spend on new missions. I guess that begs the question - would fans accept a season that was just remastering of old content? What do you all think?

from that response dude, it really comes off like they have not started any work on them. read it, and then ask yourself why people are so confused why they give one answer, and you claim another. Its not defaming and you probably shouldnt be so angry that a community wants answers that actually match up with what others claim is being said.

Neverwinter has that same reasoning for removing stuff without good reason.

Remove it when you have the time to remaster it, not several years before. The new episode structure is awful as it is. Most of the plot is missing.

Ya know, I have things to say about what this reveals, but I don't think that should be done publicly.

I hope things improve for you soon, BMR.

EDIT: I really butchered that quote!
