Cannot change Shuttle Boff on ANY character

I just got the mission Operation Gamma and tried to get my shuttle ready. However, I discovered I have no control over the bridge officer. Didn't we used to be able to change them by clicking on the small craft entry of our character tab and then stations? Did that get removed? Other players have confirmed that they can't change the Boff for their shuttles as well.
Or am I completely out my mind and mis-remembering?

    The 'standard' shuttle for each faction doesn't have a boff station.
    Compare the list at https://sto.fandom.com/wiki/Small_Craft#Overview and you'll notice all others have 1, sometimes 2, boff seats.

    My Toron shuttle does. Should have included that in my original post.

    Been playing a bit with switching around in my shuttles and ships, and I see exactly what you mean - the interface to change the Shuttle Bridge Officer(s) has completely vanished.
    I wonder if this may be connected to the bug that long ago made shuttles almost unplayable for a few weeks...

    ^^ As can be seen here, I can change my Starship seating, but not the Shuttle seating.

    This is happening to me too. I noticed it yesterday when I tried to change the BOFF for the vault.

    I would gamble that it's the exact same bug that happened during the Temporal Recruit event of 2021.
