I messaged the developers about the campaign and the statement that console and pc would run through and be able to be completed in 2021. This was their response:
Thank you for reaching out.
“I understand that you are worried about the duration of the last Featured TFO event from the Event Campaign III as there is a notice that the campaign is available for 2021.
Please don't worry as the final Featured TFO event, The Battle For Qo'nos, of Event Campaign III will have the same duration with the PC version. Since the The Battle For Qo'nos event just ended on PC, please expect it to become available for console in the next few weeks.”
Well, 2021 has passed and no event campaign for consoles. I messaged the developers again and this is what they stated and asked that I share.
“What I can only advise for now is for you to directly submit a discussion report in our official forums. Posting this on the forums is a good way for other affected players to pitch in their ideas and experiences. This will also help our development team to have more visibility about the said issue. Have no worries as I will also forward these details to our development team so they can investigate further.”
Note: The developers are really nice and always reply, I am just disappointed.
Somebody please correct me if I am wrong, but I have always assumed part of the reason for the Console release delays of content is the patches have to be certified by the third party console providers before the patch can be posted. Which is a step more than they need to do for PC.

You are correct. That is why a console patch tends to be around the first Tuesday or Thursday of the month (but not always) due to this certification that has to be done to satisfy Microsoft and Sony. The exceptions are the winter, summer, and anniversary events. Another thing is that PC and consoles are on separate servers. PC fixes do not need this certification. If there was no certification, the scheduling would probably be very different than it currently is. STO also does not support cross-play as well due to how it was set up with the ports.
Thank you for replying and weighing in. I really appreciate your input snd experience. If that is correct that will be great. I was concerned and disappointed when I saw the red alert right after the winter event, which I was afraid would delay it even longer. Thank you again, much appreciated

The Event has not finished and will be completed. Consoles run behind PC, they always have.
Then why do we keep getting further and further behind? How many months behind are we now? 3?
Console isn't falling further behind. It used to be 6 months.
"You don't want to patrol!? You don't want to escort!? You don't want to defend the Federation's Starbases!? Then why are you flying my Starships!? If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.
