Keybinds not working correctly

Now I use keybinds and a joypad (XBOX Controller) since this update I have lost the ability to use the selected controller key bind which is linked to the F key. When I update the keybind it will work for a little while but again breaks. I cannot interact via the keybind, neither with the F key or the keybound button on the controller will work. Before this event everything has been working for the last 4+ years without an issue, but this single change has caused so many problems its impossible to play just using the controller as it was setup in the first place. I know it isn't just me that is having this problem as I have read what people are saying in game.

I have everything set as it should, and this is causing huge problems.

If this is a bug, how long will it take to be fixed, Looking at Stranded in space, thats taken 3 years and its still not fixed.
