There has been no blog about a T6 Nova yet so... don't know when its coming. We usually have a week's worth of buffer from announcement to release. I wouldn't be surprised if something makes an appearance in this week's livestream.

Not this week.
Also, I don't love the saucer shape on the Nova, but damn have the screenshots in this thread convinced me it is a pretty, pretty ship.
If I had to guess, the T6 will probably look very similar to the 2410~ Pathfinder; just re-proportioned to closely match the Rhode Island. Fan designs are pretty much a no-go due to legal issues, so it's more likely to be based off an existing design theme already in-game while also matching the way the Nova was loosely based on the Intrepid.
And now that we finally get the HD Nova/RH updates, I wonder when we'll also see ones for the old Emissary, Trident, and Patrol Escort classes, as those are almost as old, if not older.
Since the ingame ship covers two radically different subclasses role-wise, making it some kind of light destroyer-scout with the change mechanics might be a good way to do it.
Updated model coming with today's patch, so everyone who flies the ship (besides Reyan) will be able to get rid of that horrible 1990s-era model in just a little over half a day (accounting for the extended maintenance).

"It's nothing personal, I just don't feel like I've gotten to know a person until I've sniffed their crotch." "We said 'no' to Mr. Curiosity. We're not home. Passion and Serenity are one.
I gain power by understanding both.

I am a shadow, darkness born from light.
The Force is united within me.
Well... it looks very nice. I wondered if it would also mean the Mirror Tier 5 version I have would have access to the new look... but then I realized it doesn't matter because I won't be able to play soon.
Once, I was simply called Mojo. Now, I'm forced into a new name, but don't be fooled, I'm the original STO Mojo!
This game needs detailed crafting, exploration and interaction systems.
If there's a blog about the revamp (and possible T6 Nova), I hope there's mention of Captain Reyan.
Maybe as the first captain (doing the shake-down/maiden cruise) of the class namesake, or as the one who convinced Starfleet to proceed with the project.
However, whilst I'd certainly love to see a T6 version, I can honestly say (and have been saying this for years) that I was always more hopeful that the model would receive attention; I got my wish and for me, a T6 version would just be the icing on an already delicious cake.
Whereas I'm the opposite. Until a T6 version is released, I'm not going to be adding it to my roster.
However, I agree with others who say a T6 is now likely to happen quite soon.

Yeah, those screen shots really do the ship justice.. but I love the look of the Nova to begin with.
Needless to say, we'll be watching over the next few weeks for a certain.. announcement.
My guess is Science focused Scout with Pilot spec.

Frankly, I can't imagine any other style of saucer on it. It's a little chubby for the small ship, but so is the engineering-hull. The shape itself fits perfectly.
I speculate the first favorite is the Intrepid-class?
Mine is the Luna, but to each their own.
<Cough> Nebula <cough>
Loads shotgun in case anyone dares to mention discovery or the dyson travesties.

This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
Well, whilst this opinion is completely subjective, I personally think it's the best looking vessel in the game.
My absolute favourite one - looks wise - is the D'Deridex, though I'd never fly it for... reasons - but as @seaofsorrows said: it's a really strong contender! And boy, does she looks good!
I have waited SO long to take screenshots like those!
Enjoy it, my friend! And here's to hoping a T6 will come swiftly!
Not agreeing with someone doesn't give you the right to be an TRIBBLE.
Ci sono tre tipi di giocatori:
- quelli a cui non va mai bene niente... e vanno sul forum a trollare;
- quelli che sono talmente imbesuiti da credere a qualunque cosa i dev dicano, perfino che la luna è fatta di formaggio... e vanno sul forum a trollare;
- quelli che credono a quello a cui è giusto credere, sono d'accordo con quello con cui è giusto essere d'accordo e sono critici con quello che non va;
you don't get it. there won't be a T6 Nova. Now they can just point and say WE JUST UPDATED IT! it goes to the bottom of the pile now! and people like me are stuck with a very pretty T2 ship, because I do not have access to the higher tier ones

My T5 retrofit (soon to be T5-X, if I can get my hands on a T5-U from the Exchange and use that X upgrade I had lying around) would like a word with you. That was the general solution for people who didn't have/couldn't get/couldn't afford/etc. a T6 version of certain ships (I ran around with a T5-X K't'inga before I got the legendary, because I could never get it out of the damn promo boxes).
Kael's post earlier in the thread suggests that a T6 blog wouldn't be released "this week" with a winky face to follow it...

This suggests to me that a T6 blog is incoming... and honestly, it wouldn't surprise me at all if it's somehow connected to the Prodigy's Protostar... In last week's livestream, it was mentioned that most ships will only get a quality pass if it serves a purpose because of the amount of time required to serve such a quality pass. That being said, I wonder if there is a "purpose" for the remodel at this time...

I was under the impression that they were to clean up older models to either (1) get them ready for Legendary treatment, (2) get them ready for some updated content (like the recent Mirror Ships update), or (3) to include them as some sort of bundle...
But I could be very wrong...

And yep, the new model looks excellent.
K
That will just make it like every other ship that's been released.. ever.
No ship appeals to everyone.. it's never happened and never will.
Tough call, this ship has some REALLY nice looking ships..
But yeah, it's a contender for sure.

I would expect it to look more like the Archon considering the Nova and Rhode Island look like a tiny Sovereign.

Was there a purpose for all the other ones, other than "gee, this model sucks, we can do better"?
