This happens every time I try to launch the game. Not having any issues with my other steam games.

    I should add that I can launch it from the exe. file, but none of my characters are available using that method.

    Same issue as well, steam games will run other than STO, really hope they provide compensation for those of us trying to grind the mirror gagarin

    I just got a new computer and this is what im getting also i hope someone finds a solution.

    It finally started working late last night. Hopefully this won't be a recurring problem.

    I just tried using Steam to login for the first time. It has been a couple years since I played STO. I am getting this issue, has there ever been anything figured out with it?

    I fixed this issue by force closing steam with task manager, game booots up fine now
