*sigh*

Sorry seems I was looking for it before I had a target selected, that was more than 5m away as suggested before.

    have you tried targeting a mob that's more then 5 meters (IIRC) away, the chain pull isn't always active but rather it only shows up when it's needed and is replace by the normal pommel strike at other times.

    when no valid target is selected (aka regular pommel strike)

    when a valid target is selected (aka a target you can attack, that isn't too far or too close)

    so at least my version on PC does not have the bug you describe. The valid range was between 5 m and 30 m IIRC.

    Sorry I'm usually very good with checking and confirming things.

    Somehow I managed to let that get by me somehow. I may have had a target but perhaps wasn't more than 5m in front or more.

    Must have been distracted, or got confused. *sigh*

    No worries the blog isn't quite clear enough about this mechanic, in fact the only reason I knew about was because there was a review video I saw that showed it.
