Do you think we will ever get that event back? As we that it 4 years ago for one time. Yet all others recruits have been back for 2 or 3 times. I like to get this 1 recruit i am missing on xbox
A lot of people have been asking for it (I am especially interested in it because of the frustration of missing it by only a day or so). Unfortunately it was made so long ago it would probably take more time and effort than the devs are willing to put into it to get the missions it requires put back into service or to link new missions to it.
Spectres is a natural for that, and it would have the advantage of being in both Delta and AoY recruit mission paths, and it is one of the best of the "thinking" episodes since the puzzles in it are mostly tactical and have bearing on the scenarios instead being annoying minigames that look like refugees from old flipphone games or impossible-to-do-with-any-lag jumping games.
There was also the "problem" of it being Federation only but that could be fixed by having the other factions as "spies" or whatever (and is not really a problem anymore since they now have a "red" faction (KDF) recruiting event to balance it.

We are, but don't ask when.
"You don't want to patrol!? You don't want to escort!? You don't want to defend the Federation's Starbases!? Then why are you flying my Starships!? If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.
Half the story arcs and episodes are missing from the game now, sure it still works (for those that still have an unfinished one) but it won't be as full on as it was unless they place those missing temporal probes into a different episodes, which at a guess would mean a lot of work for the devs.
Spectres is technically still in the game, but it is in the extremely unreliable and clunky "Available" tab, and on top of that it is locked behind a level 65 wall (it was designed for around level thirty) as well as invisible requirements (probably vestiges of its original placement in the mission tree) that sometimes crop up at random and keep people from playing it with some of their characters even at endgame. For some people it is just as problematic to start as the Kobali stuff in the "Available" tab is.
In order for things to work right it would probably have to be restored to the regular missions tab or at least have some way of accessing it at the level it was designed for and those intermittent requirement bugs taken care of.
Wasteland works most of the time, though it acts up the most for Federation characters (the intermittent invisible prereq bug just like Spectres has or the almost constant one for the Kobali stuff) which is not a good sign if it is in the mission block in the AoY tracker thing. The other two I am not sure about offhand, I haven't tried them in a long time.

Uhhh no they aren't. The Spectres, Wasteland, 2800, and Cold War, arcs are still in the game.
Yes those are, but the kuvamah (yea I spelt it wrong) isn't in there and neither is the City at the Edge of tomorrow where you go back to save the Enterprise and defeat the plain looking klingons. and I definitely remember the Temporal Probes in those missions.
i finished finding the probes and story arcs during these pandemic times and my only issues was finding the breen missions and some of the open world stuff on kobali was broken so had to wait for a fix.
Think it has been updated as missions got revamped or removed from the game. the kobali thing was fix'd about two weeks after reporting it.
Edit: i suspect people who completed removed content can still see it on the transponder. but i obviously can't prove this.

IIRC it's just 4 or 6 episodes, far off the 'half' you claim, and they were in the first Arc of the 2409 Fed campaign. As they did with Delta Recruits, they can move/remove those objectives.

Many of us have pleaded with Cryptic to re-run that recruitment event for years, excuse &/or valid reason aside, they haven't.
It would benefit older players that might've missed the event & new players alike for all platforms.
That Ambassador Kael (Community Manager) supposedly supports a re-run of the Temporal Recruitment Event too.
It's the only recruitment event that hasn't received a re-run except the new, & still active, Klingon Recruitment Event.
I think each recruitment event should be re-ran once a year to benefit any that missed & new players.
As long as they don't have to continually add more character slots to every account to do so, I don't see a problem with that. But if you have to create an entirely new character for every recruitment event, that could be a sticking point -- character data is already the biggest database. And I'm not sure how players would feel if they had to buy additional character slots to participate in these recruitment events, but probably not thrilled.
I completely agree about the no need to add another free character slot. There's certainly nothing stopping Cryptic from running a Character Services' sale to coincide if they did re-run recruitment events once a year all at once or pace them out throughout the year. The idea is to allow older players that might've missed out to finally participate or new players to do so too. That's why I fear Cryptic is gearing towards monetizing them in the future.

It had been asked before. Cryptic knows and even posted on Twitter. I mean, we'll keep reminding them, but I think they heard us.
