When are they thinking of adding the boom warp effect/sound for the discovery era Klingon characters?
The way that stuff is coded it is currently not possible unless they make Disco Klingons their own separate "faction", and recoding it to make it possible would be a lot of time intensive work that could inadvertently break a ton of other stuff.

Long answer: The Devs hate Klingons (and heck probably anything that isn't Fed) and will never do it. They had a year of twiddling there thumbs adding almost nothing to the game except bugs, was plenty of time to make a Discovery Klingon sub faction (Most of the animations are already in game). But instead they made a big fuss about them being added when they could have accomplished the same exact thing by adding their customization to Klingons like they did with the TOS Klingons.
The only thing trying to do the DSC warp jump effect for the DSC Federation alongside the TNG stuff did was break warp out effects for both of them (and every other "blue" faction captain). I don't think it would work any better for the "red" faction if they tried to bring in the same "boom" thing for the DSC Klingons.
Transwarp jump SFX was broken by it even worse, the transwarp out effect often repeats up to three times (in a scrambled fashion) like the old sour candy "double pucker" commercials and just looks emersion-breaking silly.
Frankly I would be happier if they just dropped all that nonsense and had the ships rapidly accelerate away without the lag-inducing additions. Eyecandy just looks stupid if it never works the way it is supposed to.

if you're referring to the Warp out sound that's not a bug but am intentional change, now you can disagree with the change but it's not bug.
As far as I know nothing else broke and all my fed captains can warp in and out just fine.

So you are saying that the way the warpout SFX break up and do silly things like leave the ship behind or trigger off multiple times or other random out of sequence things since they introduced AoD is intentional and not a bug? Why would they do that? It just looks ridiculous.

I think it is safe to say that they broke it.
I don't think he means that was intentional...I think he just means the sound effects were changed intentionally, because they're discarding parts of history for Kurtzman, because he is discarding history

The warp out animation leaving the ship behind is a bug that's been around for a LONG time, possibly since launch but I can't remember for sure, it's just gotten much more frequent it seems.

Yeah, warp out issues for people are an ancient problem, long predating AoD.
And the sound thing is something Cryptic has repeatedly said they mixed both the more classic warp sounds, with the DSC warp sounds, to get both in the game, since they can't just pick and chose warp sounds like that.
True, it happened occasionally before AoD, but AoD seemed to kick it into high gear and it happens to Fed aligned characters almost every time since, and KDF are much closer to the old, lower, odds of it happening.

More BS...if that were the case then why do Discovery Feds warp effects sound perfectly like in the show? There is no excuse for them to have changed the old sound effects...none.
