Klingon recruit reward complaints and questions

I'm pretty sure there are bug reports open about a lot of what I'm going to list, but many people won't read through those so I want to point things out for the general public or those searching for their problem.

- Improved Hunter's instinct only lasts 2 seconds instead of the 15 it should.
- Many story reward boxes can't be opened on other characters
- When first getting the melee trait, a melee tracker will also appear in the ground trait list. This is apparently an artifact of a progression bar they wanted to implement but failed or decided against. Slotting it doesn't change anything.
- When slotting Hunter's Instinct or the improved version and teaming up (like in a TFO) it appears as long as any player is in red alert, you will be so as well (you might have noticed not being able to go full impulse during a TFO).
- The account reward for upgrading the Bat'leth of Sto'Vo'Kor to Mk XIV actually reward the Adet'pa doff and is infinitely reclaimable.
- When not killing the "Enemy of the Empire" during a story mission the first time, they may not appear in following runs, locking the reward until another recruit is created.

That's all the bugs I've noticed or heard of so far aside the usual dodgy stuff with traits as usual.

Now this is the section where I rant about decisions by Cryptic and plead for change ->

- The account rewards largely fall short of other recruit events, despite requiring more effeort at times.
- Why is Adet'pa account unlocked but So'Beknef'ru for 2500 ambush kills has some marks and elite marks as the account reward? I'd rather have that doff than any marks and adet'pa combined.
- Same with the Superior Infiltrator bridge officer. I appreciate that the ambush kills are made easier to achieve, but I would also very much like to use this bridge officer on at least my other klingon character.
- Please! I'll trade all the mark rewards or even go to 10000 ambush kills for So'Beknef'ru as an account unlock!
- Can we also please have a progression bar for the TFO tasks? With the gamma recruit an issue that cropped up is that TFOs introduced after the event didn't count for the progression, but because people couldn't easily see their progress it wasn't transparent.

    As for your rants. The account rewards are far lower than the others indeed. Disappointed the 'special' rewards are all account unlocks, but the Boff is nothing special as you can get far better. As for progression bars, they tried to implement them but there was issues doing it so it didn't make it in.

    As the "ranting" section isn't very ranty and hostile, I'll let it slide for now and let the more experienced Mods pass judgement. As for the first half of the OP... as leem said, wrong section to report bugs.

    I was going for a list of known bugs that players may encounter during the event to inform as many players as I could. I doubt a lot monitor the bug forum. At least 2 bugs in the list are already reported and I'm still collecting some reproduction info on the others.

    Superior Infiltrator makes for great cloaked Alpha Strikes, but so far only romulan characters had acces to it. Of course if you don't have battle cloak there are betters, but I'll take it over another pirate.

    klingon recruits have access to it too now, but in a limited capacity - the reward for 50 ambush kills is a klingon boff with superior infiltrator

    unfortunately, i think it's ONLY recruits that get it, because i don't think it's an account-wide unlock​​

    Question: Is there a way to give my new Klingon (DSC) recruit the hair color option of Black? If not, since I cannot seem to find a way at the Tailor, why the heck not? lol

    You have to modify both colors of the hair to change things properly.

    You have to modify both colors of the hair to change things properly.

    Been doing that & still unsuccessful in creating black hair for the new DSC Klink.
