Is there a benefit to continuing with a recruitment character after the event?

I created a recruitment KDF character similar to one I have so I could unlock the account-wide benefits. I wouldn't delete the character, but is there a benefit to continuing with it after the event? The existing character she is similar to has a decent amount of rep progress, but I don't think I've spent zen on her. Trying to decide which to go with.

If you have not finished all the goals in the recruit's transponder you could continue unlocking those even after the event. Sounds like maybe you finished that, though, and got all the unlocks for your account.

Other than that, I am not sure there is any direct benefit. Unless maybe you get bonus dilithium if the recruitment event rolls around again.

One BIG caution for anyone who is thinking of deleting. I have never deleted a recruit, so don't know if deleting it affects any of the account unlocks. I would hope they stay flagged in the system, but...well...we know what this game can be like sometimes. Unless someone has a solid answer on this, I'm not sure I'd risk deleting anyway.

I completed all of the goals for my Gamma recruit something like a year after the event ended. Since the recruitment events add character slots, I don't see what you get by deleting them, other than reusing the slot.

I finished my Gamma Recruit and kept them as a just in case. I hate playing Jem and the masculine coding of an allegedly genderless species, but I use them occasionally for Polaron endeavors until I gear someone else for that.

Regardless, I won't delete out of abundance of caution. Then again, I still haven't bought character slots and haven't deleted anyone yet.
Call me "El," she/her only. I love my wife and I don't care who knows it!

Not really, I think they get more endeavor xp but the final endeavor perk is the boost for all your characters. So just keep hoping on them until you finish that last perk.

Since it will all take some time to finish, it's worth making the character decently equipped. 150 random tfos in a junker would be a drag even on normal
