Ever since new season started, my Klingon recruit character has had ongoing issue that sometimes when I zone into a zone a random piece of ship equipment will pop out. Someone mentioned this was a bugged ship loadout so I cleared all ship stations, ship slots and tray slots in sector space, made new loadout save, and loaded all gear to it and saved it again, but it still happens.
Today, I zoned into Ragnarok episode and my warp core and shields are disabled. (they dont show in inventory like popped out...they are greyed out like they are actually missing). My ship wont move (event though I have engines). Max impulse speed shows 0 speed.
Due to mechanics of Ragnarok zone, your ship is immediately in combat while in zone. Event though I was able to craft new warp core in zone, you are not allowed to swap ship gear while in combat.
I also cannot warp out of zone due to combat, nor can I fly to zone boundary due to ship unable to move.
I have relogged but it put me back into zone. Isnt't here a way to login where you force your character to go to safe zone? Or is there some command I can enter to force a zone exit?
Right now I'm waiting on TFO queue as possible way to get out, but I'd like to find a better way to login and not go back into a mission zone.
so when I went to TFO from Ragnarok, all equipment was in place...nothing was popped out...so something else about ragnarok was causing some ship equip to be disabled.
I think it was because I hit escape for cutscene at start and then ESC again when got checkov's mission prompt...but there was no button to get them back.
So this time I let it all play out and was able to move. I killed all enemy ships on way to enterprise, and I finally get to enterprise J with mission goal to beam to enteprrise J, but there is no on-screen option to beam to ship, not in center or hte button that is sometimes in lower right for zone actions. So now I'm stuck again..due to mechanics of this zone I cannot event warp out because I'm considered to be in combat due to zone mechanics...what a buggy zone and stupid mechanic that blocks your ability to exit zone.
well, after logging out from stuck point of mission for 30 minutes (so instance dropped and I returned outside mission zone), it must have still set a waypoint as if the transport had worked...I can now proceed with the mission as it now continues with "battle for enterprise-j" which is what I wanted (for kill terran endeavors).
I have this waypoint saved on another char, but for klingon recruits, it is one of the recruit goals to do the endeavors. Althought he sad part is that I'm only 15 endeavor points away from finishing all existing endeavors...since cryptic has given no indication yet that I am aware of that they will add new endeavors, the Klingon recruit reward of endeavor experience bonus will be wasted once there is no endeavor left to do.
