Does anyone know when the bug preventing the titan to leave tactical mode will be fixed

The transformation bug is one that's been around off and on since the old Dysons came out.

Yeah the Manticore suffers from it too. And I've had the same issue with the Section 31 intel ship.

Though I must say that it doesn't happen that often with the other ships.

I'm not sure about the Luna, I usually keep that one in science mode.

Bugged transformation or not, they're still pretty solid ships. The only reason the Dysons were so hated was because of the fused Proton Cannons in Tac Mode. Made trying to synergize builds pretty hard.

That's the only specific reason one could actually point to, yes. But for me personally there was some indefinable factor, some je ne sais quoi that just didn't feel right. I always used my Dyson as a pure Science vessel, I never put it in Tac mode, and I still didn't really like it much.

I actually re-visited it recently, just after the Summer Event, and found it was still vaguely annoying. That same toon, my KDF Tac, is currently using an X-upgraded Krenim Science Vessel, and loving it. It's a beast.

That could be a general dislike of destroyers, they are odd ships and some people like them while others do not. I am not too fond of battlecruisers because their handling seems off like you describe for instance (I prefer dreadnaught cruisers or regular cruisers over them).

I took a liking to the destroyer type when flying the Vandal destroyer and the T5u Ar'kif (which is more or less a flight-deck destroyer though they don't call it one), the latter of which also has the transform mechanic.

As for the fixed main gun, that can be worked around especially since its damage enhancer consoles are spread out in all three types rather than just tactical.

Also I think the mission where they showcase the Dyson had a rather terrible Cryptic generated build on it too, which turned people off on it because it wasn't performing at its best. Serviceable but it was clunky and tried to do too many things at once to showcase ALL of its capabilities... and didn't do it very effectively.
