OMG...they are actually making a Rom and Dom bundle...

So, it looks like they will release a Rom and Dom ship bundle on the 18th. Not a fan of all the problems as of late...but I am gonna have to eat some crow on this as they actually did this. So @somtaawkhar I will concede that they do listen sometimes and this means I will have to charge some zen when this bundle comes out as I said I would. Not that I need any with all the LTS stipend that has been building up over the years now...but damn, this makes me happy and they deserve the money from me for this.

Ideally instead of the two bundled options they could have done a pick your own similar to the muggs market ones where the choice is from three overpriced ships and vastly overpriced tokeny upgradey things, just with the less gougy normal price.

And here they are, with an update on the New Orleans' model.
I'd have commented in the official thread in Galactic Network... if we had one.

Always good to see JH and Rom ships getting some love, so I welcome this bundle.

    That said:
The Romulan Republic, lacking the resources and industrial muscle of the Federation and the Klingon Empire, is often challenged to maintain a fine balance between innovation and economic necessity when it comes to the design of new starships.
That made me chuckle, considering we're talking about the faction that gave us the Ra'nodaire, arguably the largest 2410-2411 ship (and a carrier at that, so requiring a lot of resources) that isn't from an enemy faction or another timeline.

I think its weird as I didn't think the recon ships were all that popular, but I'll give them credit for doing it too. Unfortunately I have to pass on it, because I need my zen for the coming Excelsior and KDF legendaries, and I already have the original recon ships. I have to imagine a lot of other people are going to pass on it too because we already have the original recon ships.

It took me a moment to realize these were JH/Rom variants of the existing two Recon Destroyers. I think it's really cool that they did make/release these variants though; always happy to see the sub-faction ship rosters get rounded out. Makes me hopefully we might see a JH/Rom version(Disco era or not) of the Gagarin/Qugh and Engle/Sech.
