Ground Combat - Secondary Fire Modes not Autofiring on Many Weapons

This bug has been around for ever already but I thought I put it up again since it keeps annoying me to no end.
On many (most?) weapons the secondary fire mode will not autofire if both primary and secondary mode are set to autofire. I assume it's due to the primary mode firing too fast (?). Not only is that a pain in the behind but those weapons also get their primary fire mode locked forever when you try to manually activate the secondary mode (requires quite a few tries as well). This makes combat extremly clunky.
