Bundle ship slot coupons activate on their own

I had the 5 "2 ship slot" coupons from the legendary bundle in the inventory of my main, holding them for some new characters to use down the road when they all activated on their own last week adding 10 ship slots to my main who already has a ton of them.

I submitted a ticket and they told me that this appears to be the result of a bug but because they can't revert the slots I'm stuck with it. They requested I also post to the bug forum.

I have the same 5x2 ship slot coupons from the Legendary bundle, but the difference is they've been stored in my main character's bank, rather than his inventory, and they're currently still there, unopened.

When the last event's 'dilithium reward boxes' were automatically opened the other day, I also had a EMH Doctor Boff box in my inventory that was also opened automatically. Maybe it's all part of the same 'bug.'
