I need help deciding on a ship bundle.

I know aesthetics plays a part, but outside of that, I don't know which would be good as far as consoles, layout, and trait. It's for a tac captain. I'm looking for something fun to fly and is capable of doing high-end damage. Last I knew, the Scimitar bundle and Andorian bundle were decent choices.

You should give us a price range, and perhaps an idea of what you already like flying. Scimitars are quite capable ships, but at the most literal sense, they are probably not fun to fly for a lot of people, but maybe you don't care about sluggish low inertia ships.

6-10k zen I'd say. I liked escorts, carriers, dreadnaughts, accessible to feds anyway

So the Scimitar bundle is of course one that you might like or the larger bundle including the Oddysseys. There are 2 different pilot escort bundles in the store you might like. You might also like the miracle worker ships, ugly as they are, but as MW ships are quite powerful for beam ships. Also as mentioned is the gamma pack, but is possibly out of your range, though they are quite capable ships and their console sets can go on any ship if you like that idea.

Those are the full T6s which come with the console sets, but there are a lot of other ships in cross faction bundles you might like too that need fleet ships.

The Hathos and its counterparts are fun escorts. The New Orleans is a more classic TNG style ship but it is really an escort. The Pralim and Sulik bundle are some interesting flight deck carriers with a heavy tactical bent. The Reliant is a light cruiser that is quite fun. There is always the Yamato and its bundle, which surely doesn't compete with the Scimitars but you might still enjoy it.

Now, you might instead want to use that Zen for converting to EC or lobi. Then you can look at lobi ships like the Maquis raider or the Vengeance which might suit you.
