Old claim lib-borg sci BOff active but uncompletable and can't be dropped.

I have the mission to head to task group omega to talk to the USS Victory to claim a lberated borg science officer.. excpet BGO has been removed along with the USS Victory so am unable to hand in and claim reward and the quest can't be dropped so it sits in log, mocking me!

The Lib Borg should be claimable in the dilthium store under the "relcaim" tab, which should also complete the quest.

Yes... Which is mentioned in the thread linked. And no, it does not complete the "quest" as you call it. Please read before replying with advice that is incorrect as it will lead to confusion for others.
