I finally decided on a ship to get with one of my coupons. The Nautilus.
A friend and I were discussing this or that, especially China's aggravation at Covid-19 being referred to as the Wuhan Virus. So, she told me last night she was tempted to rename or get another ship and call it Wuhan. Then I suggested Wuhan Virus. She really liked that. Then I admitted that I was tempted as well and scrolled through the ships in the C-Store. The only T6 that spoke to that was the Nautilus and I told her. She laughed and said I should. So my main, who is a sci, is flying the U.S.S Wuhan Virus. Since it's themed around viruses and such, I've outfitted it with Bio-Molecular phaser cannons, a Bio-Molecular phaser turret and the Undine rep weapon set with the heavy phaser turret, console and torpedo. I also put a bio-molecular mine to the rear.
Sure, it won't win any dps races, but it kills things and I like it. I'm pretty sure I can do more with this, but it does what I want it to do .
Now, what to get with the other coupon and still working on the current coupon, so that'll still be two more ships.
And please, people, I don't want Covid to be the focus of this thread, it's just the reason I built the ship, which is the focus of this thread. Thank you in advance.
Anyway, I got one of my free ships, we'll see what I get in the future.
Now a LTS and loving it.
Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything.

As long as you're having fun, that is all that matters.
I actually have a Malon Battlecruiser I named the Gaseous Anomaly. You can guess what I loaded her with.
Back when we had the Na'Khul Alerts I actually experimented with the first incarnation of the Gaseous Anomaly on a T5 Excelsior. Was surprisingly effective. Wouldn't win a DPS race but she actually held her own quite nicely.
Crazy builds and that work and theme builds can be just as much fun as fully optimized and synergized builds.
you want a virus boat, use this for guidance - some of the things i have listed are reaching as far as virii/plagues go and i haven't updated it in who knows how long, so some things added after the fact that are virus-like may also be worth a look
A normie goes "Oh, what's this?"
An otaku goes "UwU, what's this?"
A furry goes "OwO, what's this?"
A werewolf goes "Awoo, what's this?"
"It's nothing personal, I just don't feel like I've gotten to know a person until I've sniffed their crotch." "We said 'no' to Mr. Curiosity. We're not home. Curiosity is not welcome, it is not to be invited in. Curiosity...is bad. It gets you in trouble, it gets you killed, and more importantly...it makes you poor!"

Biomolecular phasers are actually pretty decent if you spec for them. I use them on my vet destroyer and my GCS on my main.
Then there was the refracting tetryon/minelayer build I put together for the Vorgon dreadnought cruiser as a joke, which turned out to be more effective than it had any right to be.

Thanks for the tips guys. I'll look into some of that stuff and if I can acquire them. Right now it did a decent job, and that was before I checked and saw my traits had come unslotted. So I'll take her out again and see what she can do now.
Now a LTS and loving it.

I really like the "space wheelbarrow" visually speaking. Although I always end up going back to something better like the Eternal, I love breaking out the Nautilus from time to time.
When you see "TRIBBLE" in my posts, it's because I manually typed "TRIBBLE" and censored myself.
After going over the list shadowfang provided, I see I may be able to add a few more abilities.
It's all very appreciated.
You can get the sec-deflector that does Radiation DoT and use Structural Analysis Boff skill for an excellent virus-type Radiation spread.
"You don't want to patrol!? You don't want to escort!? You don't want to defend the Federation's Starbases!? Then why are you flying my Starships!? If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.

The person in my av flies an Eternal and she loves it. Jacob also flies the MM ship from that set too, and he'll probably go back to it, but the Nautilus will become another ship he takes out sometimes.
Now a LTS and loving it.

Thanks Dave, I'll look into that. The acct the ship is on has plenty of ECs from a ship I sold on the exchange that I keep in the acct bank.
The ship itself is pretty neat and I've kind of gotten used to its looks. I've put everything I can in relation to viruses that I could get my hands on, so this will add to it.
Now a LTS and loving it.

I was looking at that one myself, many times. I'm curious about its console.
I suppose it's something like the ground ability nanoprobe infestation, only in space. Perhaps someone else more familiar with it can answer more clearly. I don't always pay attention when fighting, even when activating things. Aside from making sure my ship isn't about to blow up, lol. Though this ship seems to be pretty sturdy too. I only fight on Normal difficulty though, so I'm not sure how sturdy it would be in adv/elite difficulties.

It is a good Console on a Mega Grav Well Build. I have seen it used to assimilate the Voth Dreadnoughts in the Voth Counterattack Phase in the Undine BZ. Funny seeing them hanging there in a 45° downward angle.

The only ship in the C-Store I don't have is the Batlh Intel Science Vessel. It is now been in the 'New' Tab for 7 months. I haven't been able to use my first 100% off Coupon, let alone the second. I purchased the Sommerville with one of my 50% off Coupons when it came out with the Batlh.
Next Meta Event I'm taking the 1000 Lobi.

i think i have that on the list i posted a link to above, and it is fun to watch...not so fun to be on the receiving end, which you will be FREQUENTLY when fighting 25th century mo'kai

Thanks. I think I already have that sec deflector. I'll look into the Structural Analysis.

It was fairly cheap on the exchange when I got one for my Liberated Borg Romulan

I don't think there's an intel seat, unfortunately. I think the Spec seat is Temporal
