Ok, so I'm starting up the game and shortly after the tab opens and the Cryptic logo and loading bar appear, the tab closes and a crash error will appear. Is anyone else having this issue?
I had it yesterday.
A while ago I put a direct shortcut to the game on my desktop for situations like this. Usually, starting the game manually seems to fix it so the next time when I use the regular launcher it just works.

do you use Arc? I tried this tip, but the game launcher is linked to Arc.
Please post bug reports only in the bug reporting area of the forums per community guidelines. Posting them in gendisc prevents them from being seen in a timely manor by devs and prevents them from getting fixed in a timely manor.
With that said get me the error number for your crash and I will forward it on.

Don't forget to also turn off On-Demand Patching in the Options part of the Star Trek Online launcher if you have not already and then Force-Verify. If that does not resolve it, then you will need support.
