Infinity T6 Box never gave me an option

I had a Infinity T6 ship box in my alts inventory, ((alt) Romulan Fed aligned). I was trying to get the Kelvin Heavy Command Cruiser for my main character, ((main) Human Fed aligned). When I opened the Infinity T6 box on my Romulan it automatically gave me the Kelvin Intel Carrier. I never got an option to choose a ship, then switch it from on character to another

Oh yeah since you're Romulan that's all you can get from that box. Even though an original recipe Fed could technically fly a Romulan ship, they could not ever get that carrier out of that box for the same reason. It just assigns by your faction, which for Romulans is Romulan.

If memory serves, the Infinity T6 boxes are character-bound too, so there's no way to transfer it to another character before opening it. Once you open t and get the ship-box, that can be transferred, but this sucks as you cannot choose the ship you want for another character and are limited by the faction opening the Infinity box.

The Master Box is Character Bound. There is a Unbound Kelvin Box inside that you can choose. That will give you the Romulan, Klingon, or Federation Kelvin Ship depending on who opens THAT Box. That Kelvin Box does not auto open. Since it is Unbound that Kelvin Box can even be put on the Exchange.
