Zen Sale PC on Steam

I'm only showing the 5,000 bonus plus 20,000 for $200. It is not showing the normal 3,000 in addition to the Zen sale 5,000 bonus.

Also the window is so small an I cant resize it at all. A lot of text is missing for anything over $10 it seems.
If you are looking for an excellent PvE fleet consider: Omega Combat Division today.

I saw the same thing and sent in a ticket. I just got a response that they will get back to me and I should buy it through ARC. I already transferred the money to Steam.

Me too... I have the money on Steam. I'm even willing to buy now and get the rest later for that matter but no one officially as said anything.

It seems I cant use Paypal anymore without adding a bank card but I dont have one the system will accept since I'm not in the US anymore and my account is US. I loathe Paypal and its assinie security TRIBBLE. They dont seem to think people from one country live and work in another. The same goes for PWE for that matter blocking IP when the account is from one country that is what should matter not from where they have to connect.

I dont have Arc on my workstation and I dont plan on installing either as I dont like the system. Steam is the only third party DRM and content system I want on my system as it bring so much to the table other than checking if I'm in a proper region or if my game is licensed properly. After all according to the software association I'm not buying anything just paying for the experience as service right? Accordingly I can that experience anywhere on the planet at any given time but I digress...

Oh well it seems Cryptic will lose out on my $400 then but given all the T6 connies I have seen in game I dont think they will miss it at all.

You don't need Arc to buy Zen. Just use go to the Arc site to buy it. Steam takes money from Zen purchases, which is why the bonus is lower, that is not Cryptic's fault. Steam also does not provide DRM for STO as STO has it's own DRM system built in. Do yourself a favour and copy the Startrekonline.exe file from the Steam folder, stick it in a new folder and use that launch the game. Steam has no benefit and is not required to play STO. It's about time Cryptic has it removed from the Steam store.

If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.

When you say Arc site you mean this domain yes? Steam is not an option. I used to use Paypal via this site as it was fast and easy; not anymore however.

Furthermore when I click on buy Zen in game I get my Steam Wallet which is great and I think the real purpose of having it on Steam the issue is 1. the box is far too small to see all the text and options and 2. The normal 3k bonus is not showing and only the 5k at $200 and all the others for that matter.

Not sure if this is affecting anyone up here in Canada but on steam I can't purchase the $227.27 option. But the $113.64 option for 10k plus 2.5k still seems to work as is everything else. So it seems to me if you can't purchase the $227.27 for 20k zen plus 5k bonus just try the $113.64 option two times and then you get the same 25k zen.

Anyway after looking into it more it really does seem to be much cheaper to buy zen on the steam store vs the arc store. Plus for $284.10 CAD on steam you can get a total of 31k zen $113.64 CAD for 10,000 zen +2,500 (bonus)+ $113.64 for 10,000 zen+2,500 (bonus) +$56.82 for 5000 zen +1000 (bonus). But on the arc site you can only get 28k for $275 CAD really strange.

TLDR if you live in Canada and just buy lets say 10k plus 2500 zen on steam it only costs you $85.77 USD vs $103.77 for 10k plus 3500 using the arc charge option....So you can save yourself $20 and just purchase it on steam.

Sadly I do not and my account is US. Its ok. I dont think Cryptic needs my money anymore as they clearly made serious bank with the offering and I'm tired of the BS with PayPal and their demanding a phone call to get anything done due to 'security reasons' but you would think they would prefer online video chat if security was really the issue vs a mere phone call. It cost me over a weeks pay last time I called them because of TRIBBLE trying to buy Zen due to the fact I only have a mobile phone here and transpacific calls are costly to say the least.

Consequently, I decided to preorder the CE for the next TESO offering as well as two other new titles I'm interested in.
