Getting ships from past captains

I got the odyssey class ship on one of my early captains as part of the mission introducing that class. I deleted that caption to make room when the romulan expansion happened. Is there a way to get that ship back

    Not directly in the way you mean. That ship is available at the shipyard for 200,000 fleet credits though.
